In 3k and 4k we are studying the miracles of Jesus. Several have to do with boats (Great Catch of Fish, Jesus Walking on the WATER and Jesus calming the storm). We will no doubt, talk about anchors. “Do not let your hearts be troubled. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am” (John 14:1, 3). . . . .
This is Jesus’ anchor and it has your child’s name written on it. Without the anchor your children and we teachers float through life being tossed back and forth by the waves and storms of worldly ideas and sin, guilt and shame. Through your Word we pray that as teachers we will both be an anchor for someone who is “floating” through life without any hope or certainty of the future and help these little ones to learn to do so as well. Thank you for giving us this privilege.
